Voice of Ghost recorded in my house **REAL EVP* Electronic voice phenomenon
Today at around 3:00PM EST my sister put our Sony sound recorder ((The same type the Ghost Hunter's use)) in the bathroom, to try and catch some EVPS. You can hear the TV in the background, but I can assure you that you will be able to tell when you hear the ghost. I haven't been able to go into the bathroom since. For those of you who do not know what an EVP is, more information will be posted below. Electronic voice phenomena are electronically captured sounds that resemble speech, but are not the result of intentional voice recordings. Common sources include static, stray radio transmissions and background noise. Some people claim these sounds are of paranormal origin[1]. Others claim there are natural explanations such as apophenia (finding significance in insignificant phenomena), auditory pareidolia (interpreting random sounds as voices in their own language), equipment artefacts, and simple hoaxes. Recordings of electronic voice phenomena are often created from background sound by increasing the gain (ie sensitvity) of the recording equipment. The term electronic voice phenomena (or phenomenon in the singular) is commonly abbreviated as EVP.
