Premiered at Fantastic Fest 2008, Austin, Texas. 2008 Tribeca Film Festival selection! © 2007 Greeks Productions, Inc. All Rights Reserved. This is a documentary videography on the making of the new retro horror film THE WILD MAN OF THE NAVIDAD by Duane Graves and Justin Meeks, which will screen 5 times in New York City in the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival's Discovery section. The movie was co-produced by Kim Henkel, the writer/producer of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre with Tobe Hooper in 1974. MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Based on the recently acquired journals of Texan Dale S. October 18, 2009 on FOX News - From Live Science: Last week a most unusual animal made its world premiere in an equally strange museum in the small town of Phoenix, New York. The mounted and stuffed beast is claimed to be the elusive chupacabra (the vampiric "goat sucker" of Hispanic folklore), and is on display for an exclusive engagement through Halloween at the Lost World Museum, run by real estate agent John Adolfi. Adolfi's chupacabra was found thousands of miles away in Blanco, Texas, in August. A local man presented the dead animal (half jokingly) as a chupacabra to a taxidermist named Jerry Ayer. It had been attacking chickens a few days earlier, and succumbed to poison left as bait. The canid creature weighed about 80 pounds and resembled a coyote or dog. But its front legs were a few inches longer than most coyotes', and it was mostly hairless except for around the feet and along its backbone. Read more bit.ly via www.atheistmedia.com -

ReplyDeleteI really want to see this one..looks like a homage to the great sasquatch films, docs and docu-dramas of the 70's. Good to see some young directors with a little bit of talent.
ReplyDeletecan you put the whole movie of wild man of the navidad on youtube in episodes

ReplyDeleteUGH..................I can't beleive creationists are using Cryptozoology to further their cause! Honestly! I beleive in stuff like this being possible but seeing Creationists try to leech off it only makes people look down on this field of science even more!

ReplyDeleteOne man's mangy mutt corpse is anothers mythical beast.
ReplyDeleteMost of the corpses turn out to be coyote's that have had mange for a long period.
yeah, just looks like an el chihuahua to me
ReplyDeletelol hahaha
ReplyDeleteJeremy Fisher is back fighting the Great War!
Salad Fingers is cool.
If I bring Jeremy Fisher can I come?????
ReplyDeleteHind legs seen like they're adapted for hopping like a kangaroo... Could have been a beautiful creature (without the mange) but the hillbilly had to kill it.
ReplyDeleteuh.... that looks like an old mangy dog. . . . anyone?
ReplyDeleteWhat's sad is when someone makes such generalized statements about millions of people. I watch Fox News and I'm a skeptic. I have a subscription to Skeptic Magazine. You don't think MSNBC doesn't have its share of fans who believe silly things?
ReplyDeleteLies. The curator of the Lost World Muesum is just attempting to get as much money out of the public as possible, that's why he won't permit biologists to examine the corpse.
ReplyDeleteI'll agree to that, and I AM an American.
ReplyDeleteIt hurts that people will buy this in the 21st century.
ReplyDeleteWhoever believes the chupacabra isn't real need to get their heads examined.
ReplyDeleteIt's real I tell you! Now i'm going to play with my magical invisible friend Hubert Cumberdale.
Faux News viewers will believe anything. So sad.
ReplyDeletestupid americans
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely right, no white powder there, so it's definitely a dead dog with mange
ReplyDeleteNah, no white powder under the nose.
