For exapmle like I have stated before. They put TV shows on abiout certain creatures that are unexplained . Like the loch ness monster and bigfoot. Ok...well they show stupid shows on tv that people actually watch like me...thinking that the might have actually caught something. Well my point is THEY NEVER FIND ANYTHING NOT EVEN SOMETHING CLOSE TO EDVIDENCE!!! OOOOHHH wow a fucking footprint it coudl be any animal not just a dumb big foot....And you wanna know what a theory on the loch ness monster. In the middle of the lake there is this island supposivly there was a mad scientist back in the day always dumping his chemical waste. And their theory is that this "loch ness monster" is gentically mutated or something...OMG WHAT IS WRONG WITH SCIENCE ACTUALLY GIVE US GOOD EVIDENCE =D. grrr... sorry i mean i have my opinions and this is one.

Today's large cranes are almost the length of a football field. The base of Egypt's Great Pyramid could accommodate ten such cranes.

What we find in the Great Pyramid defies all expectations. Beams weighing 70 tons are situated 120-feet above ground level. Ancient Egypt's best ramps would collapse under much smaller weights. Ancient Egyptian ramps were not very strong because they were made of crudely-shaped rocks glued together with clay.

Another simple way to raise blocks is to use wooden levers. But wooden levers are too weak to pry up 70-ton beams, such as those found on the interior of the Great Pyramid. Stacked wooden boards are too unstable to support such enormous building units. Modern tests with mere 1/2-ton blocks barely managed to raise stones a few feet with when using stacked boards to inch them up. The 70-ton beams within the Great Pyramid measure an impressive 27 feet long.

They produce the ceiling of the Great Pyramid's King's Chamber. These great beams span the length of the ceiling and overhang the thick sidewalls of the King's Chamber.

The walls of this mysterious granite room are made of blocks weighing up to 50 tons each. They fit in ways no crane is capable of achieving. A close inspection of the walls and floor shows that the blocks fit together with hairline joints, some barely detectable to the naked eye. All of the protuberances (small bumps) in these blocks fit exactly with matching anti-protuberances in blocks they touch on all sides. It takes a different kind of technology than brute force to perform such sensitive and careful work.

Engineers recognize that fitting these stones is as difficult of a problem as raising them. In addition, we never see granite cut this precisely in today's structures.

We find a very stunning situation further down in the Great Pyramid. Three granite blocks, together 15 feet in length, were used as plugs for the 129-foot-long Ascending Passageway. These blocks plug its lower end. Most engineers who have studied the problem suggest that these blocks were somehow slid down the long 129-foot slope of the Ascending Passageway.

But these plug blocks are less than 1/2 inch narrower than the Ascending Passageway itself. The plug blocks fit very closely with the Ascending Passageway's ceiling. In some places, there is only 1/10 inch clearance. In general, the gap between the tops of the plug blocks and the ceiling of the corridor is only about 1-1/3 inch.

To prevent the blocks from from slipping out of place, workers made them slightly wedge-shaped. This produces an exact, custom fit between the plug blocks and the area of the Ascending Passageway where they rest. With these factors in mind, no engineer has explained how these blocks could have been slid down the 129-foot Ascending Passageway without becoming hopelessly jammed.

No engineer has explained how these blocks could have been put into such a constrained place, either - given the great weight of granite blocks this size. There was simply not enough room for the number of men required to place these heavy plug blocks in such a confined area.

All of the work described above is all the more stunning because it takes 25 hours of labor to cut one inch into Aswan granite with a copper bow drill and sand. Copper was the strongest metal the Pyramid Age Egyptians had in their possession, and copper is a very soft metal. Sand quickly becomes dull against the granite, and must be constantly renewed to furnish sharp cutting points.

No direct evidence shows any tooling method more advanced for ancient Egypt. In fact, even the simple bow drill is unknown for the Pyramid Age, when all of Egypt's great pyramids arose. Modern masons are unable to re-produce the tight, corresponding fits between the granite blocks of the Great Pyramid with the best modern tools.

Some have imagined that these seemingly impossible feats must be attributed to ancient astronauts or ancient high-tech from Atlantis or another lost civilization about which we have no information. But modern science has shown us the way.

Johnstown is yet another of the ghostly places known in Pennsylvania, especially as one of the most haunted places in PA. The Johnstown Incline Plane is enlisted in the legendary Guinness Book of World Records as the most vertically placed vehicular inclined plane around the globe.

But then this same incline is said to be haunted by the ghosts of a few coal miners who were killed when unfortunately a coal mine collapsed near the incline in 1902, the apparitions are seen still holding on to their lunch buckets.

Last but not the least is Philadelphia, the Eastern State Penitentiary to be precise. This prison, supposedly one of the most haunted places in PA, was once home to infamous gangster Al Capone, is now abandoned and is haunted by the ghosts of several prisoners who died here. People have also seen the apparition of a ghost guard who can often be seen in the guard towers.

A couple of years ago, I wrote an article about crop circles and received an overwhelming response from readers of our member newsletter Ancient Mysteries. When I started the report, I was truly ready to show what the aliens were trying to tell us. Unfortunately, the hard facts revealed that most crop circles are manmade. But, let's take another look at this interesting topic.

The number of circles reported varies from approximately 2,000 (according to the International Crop Circle Database) to an estimated 10,000 sightings worldwide. The first patterns were simple circles and rings in wheat and barley fields. Recent patterns are elaborate geometrical designs, including some fractals! Patterns range in size from just a few yards across to huge designs that can only be seen fully from the air.

Theories on how these are made vary. Some propose that whirlwinds or plasma vortexes cause them, others suggest earth energies and magnetic fields, and some say microwave transient heating causes these circles. But, the most popular belief is that extraterrestrial forces create crop circles. As I reported in the first article, initially, the circles were thought to be landing impressions left by alien spacecraft, but now it is believed that the patterns are messages from aliens to us.

In 1991, two elderly, retired Englishmen, Doug Bower and Dave Chorley, confessed to creating hundreds of crop circles, beginning in the early 1970s. This led most media sources to proclaim that all crop circles were hoaxes. Some crop circle supporters pointed out that these two men couldn't possibly have created all the circles, particularly those outside of the U.K. Yet, some crop circle artists, such as Circlemakers, suggested that Doug and Dave started a trend that was picked up by others worldwide. These artists consider crop circles a creative challenge and continue to make new and more elaborate patterns. We can even learn how to make our own at their Web site.

Interestingly, in 1991 Doug and Dave stated that they would make no more circles. But English researcher John Macnish claims that a year after they said this, he filmed them making the famous East Meon crop circle of 1992.

Gene Pool, a crop circle Web site, gives the following story as an example of the present state of mind surrounding crop circles: "When a large crop circle showed up Hungary, it created a great deal of attention. Two crop circle experts were called in to solemnly declare that it was a genuine construction by extraterrestrials, and could absolutely, positively not be the work of humans. A few months later, two seventeen-year-old students from Budapest introduced themselves in front of a T.V. audience and announced that they had created the circle themselves. Furthermore, they had extensive proof in the form of photographs and videotapes, including before and after shots."

Pool points out that several newspapers sent reporters out with a few crop circle makers to make new circles in secret. In each case, a day or so later, the reporter-assisted circles were hailed as genuine by all of the "experts." This experiment was repeated several times by several journalists. One well-documented, manmade design even ended up on the cover of a book on crop circles.

On the other hand, conspiracy theorists claim that Doug and Dave's confession was staged by the British Ministry of Defense in collusion with the CIA to keep the secret of alien contact hidden from the public.

Most crop circle fans concede that some circles are manmade but believe that others aren't. The following evidence is presented to support the position that some crop circles are not manmade: huge and intricate designs appear quickly, stalks are bent above ground level (this is very difficult to do by a man), and electromagnetic anomalies are found within some circles.

Those who believe that all crop circles are manmade put forth these points to support their case: wet crops bend easily without breaking, and it would take only a few minutes of math, a tape measure and a compass to make a design that would look complicated. Some humans understand fractals so well that they could easily make them using simple tools. Finally, it didn't take long before schoolchildren across the U.K. began drawing complex circles in contests. If schoolchildren can do these, why do we so quickly attribute the circles to aliens?

Despite all of this, many people find crop circles to be a fascinating and uplifting phenomenon. Whether they are made by humans or aliens, they have a magic to them that cannot be overlooked. They lift human imagination up from everyday earth life to artistic, heavenly feelings and thoughts. Alien or domestic, crop circles are having a profound effect upon humanity.

Imprisoned for three hundred years by the Tellis vampire coven, Marinette (Nessy) is a half- vampire, half-human who survives by drinking the blood of rats or bags of infected human blood. She has sworn to never take a human life herself, so she has never been completely transformed into a vampire. She still has the feelings of a warm-blooded human, and can be more easily killed than other vampires, but she is stronger than them in some ways, having never succumbed to the blood lust that drives all other vampires to kill humans. She is unique in the history of vampires, and this makes her much sought after, because whatever coven she might add her power to would likely become the most powerful and unstoppable one of them all. But, Nessy is not interested in power, though she is highly skilled at fighting, nor is she interested in blood- letting. She really only wants what most of us want: to be loved. Can she find this love by becoming a member of the coven Charles Eaves runs, or is she doomed to an eternity of a solitary existence, pursued throughout eternity by Hervidor, and his Tellis coven?

Hervidor, who is Nessy's maker, the vampire who had been her lover, her husband, and the one who caused her transformation by biting her neck hundreds of years ago, will always be searching for Nessy and trying to get her back and force her to become a full vampire and rule alongside him. This is especially his goal, after the death of his vampire mate, Scarlet. At one time, before her wedding night, Hervidor had seemed to Nessy to be very romantic and handsome, and she couldn't help but to fall in love with him, and she felt he also fell in love with her. That may have been the case, but Hervidor failed to mention he already had a vampire mate, Scarlet, and that he, himself, was a vampire. Scarlet had been extremely jealous of Nessy, and, during Nessy's long captivity, had been one of her cruelest tormentors.

With the aid of Charles and his coven, and that of the large, cat-like Gulons, lead by Heracio (or Hera, as he's also known as in the novel), Nessy dares to hope that Hervidor won't succeed in tracking her down and forcing her to rule alongside him, as Scarlet did. Hera, and unbeknownst at the time to Charles, his niece, Melody, had been the only ones who had been able to visit Nessy in her locked room during her lengthy imprisonment. Though the Gulons are traditionally enemies of vampires, because vampires kill the very humans that the Gulons try to protect, Hera realizes that Nessy is different from all other vampires, and he befriends her. He and the other Gulons also have an arrangement with Charles Eaves and his coven to leave them alone as long as they sustain themselves with bagged human blood, and don't kill any of them.

I am not, in general, a fan of overly gooey romance novels, often categorized as "Chick Lit." However, Moon Rising is one I found I could-er-sink my teeth into (please forgive me for that lame attempt at humor). This is because the tale of Nessy and her attempts to not give in to her blood-lust by killing a human, and her not wanting to have happen to anyone else, due to her own actions, what happened to her, seemed to me to be an interesting take on the vampire novel. Also, reading about Nessy's attempts to find true love, despite the cursed situation she is in, is a reminder that there is always a glimmer of hope in even the darkest situation. Just as she about resigns herself to a loveless existence, Charles Eaves enters her life.

Charles has a lot to catch Nessy up on, also. This was another part of the novel I liked, Charles teaching Nessy about how much things have changed in the world during her imprisonment. For instance, before Hervidor had bitten her and she was imprisoned, people traveled by horse and carriage. Nessy had never seen of heard of what cars are until Charles shows her. He also teaches Nessy about how music has changed over the years, and that it is now on CDs that are played on stereos. He teaches her new dances, and what started as just his wanting to protect Nessy and get her to become a member of his coven leads into them falling in love with each other.

Jealousy exists even within his own coven, though. Alejandra, one of the members, doesn't think that someone who is half-human, and half-vampire, and who has never taken a human life, should be allowed to be a member. She wants Charles' love for herself, and feels that Nessy is an unwelcome intruder. Can Nessy experience love and happiness for once since her transformation, or will Hervidor and his coven track her down and end her chances at finding these things forever, even with Charles and his coven and Hera and the other Gulons trying to protect her? If you're a fan of supernatural romance novels, or just fine supernatural, page- turning stories in general, you're sure to be bitten by the desire to read Moon Rising by Laurie Bowler.

Nobel prize-winning biochemist, Francis Crick, calculated the probability of a living cell forming by accident from nonliving chemicals and found the likelihood to be less than 1 in 10 to the 40,000th power. (That's a 10 with 40,000 zeroes after it!) To put that in perspective consider that the number of atoms in the known universe is only 10 to the 130th power!

What is the likelihood of finding the right atom out of all the atoms in the universe even if you picked out one atom every second for ten billion years? Life forming by chance is far less likely than that. Francis Crick didn't fall on his knees and say "there must be a God!" Instead he said that aliens (extra-terrestrials) from outer space brought life to earth.

This brings us to the question of aliens, UFOs and alien abductions. In recent years many people have come forward and said they woke up one morning with the distinct memory of being abducted by aliens and taken aboard a spacecraft.

This usually happens with people who are involved in the occult or are into "New Age" belief systems. "New Age" can be defined as a westernized form of Hinduism.

Some of the "abductees" who didn't start out as New Agers to tend to adopt New Age beliefs because of the messages received from the aliens they encounter. It is the opinion of many researchers that UFO "abductions" are nothing more than demon inspired dreams and demonic encounters intended to deceive people into New Age beliefs.

Joe Jordan attended church as a child but adopted New Age beliefs through involvement with New Age literature. Joe repented and became a Christian after a Christian friend challenged him to read the Bible. He now works to expose the UFO hoax.

Some time after his conversion Joe encountered the case of a man who claimed to have halted his abduction experience.

The abduction was stopped when the man called on the name of Jesus. Through further investigation Joe Jordan and a colleague discovered about 100 instances of UFO "abductions" stopped by the name of Jesus. (see "Charisma" magazine April 2001 issue p. 46) This is empirical evidence that the name of Jesus Christ is the name before which every knee must bow to the glory of God the Father!

When a Christian confronts a demon and speaks to the demon and commands it to stop in the name of Jesus, the demon will stop the abduction.

For a biblical example of the power of the name of Jesus we can read of the instance when Paul, the apostle, cast a demon out of a girl. "Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour (Acts 16:18).

If UFO abductions are mere illusions perpetrated by demons it is no wonder that they are halted by exercising spiritual authority through the name of Jesus.

I think I caught the video on 120 Minutes. I think it would have been airing around the summer of 2001. The song was an alt rock song and If I remember correctly the band was performing in a field and there were crop circles involved. I think the song might have had the world circle/s in it. I also remember the word zero, possibly part of the band name? I know Remy Zero was out then but I don't think it was them, but maybe that's why I'm thinking "zero".

TRAGEDY: Pregnant Amish Woman Killed By Lightning On Due Date

GARRETT, Pa. -- A pregnant Amish woman picking berries in the woods near her Pennsylvania home was killed by lightning on her due date. The fetus also died.

State police say 36-year-old Mary H. Yoder was with her husband and two children late Tuesday morning when a storm moved in. Yoder took shelter under a pine tree while her husband and the children ducked under a different tree.

Police say lightning struck a few minutes later, killing Yoder and her fetus. Trooper Steven Limani tells the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that Tuesday was the due date.

Police are investigating.

Garrett is about 75 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.

UFOs And Science: The Trick That Was The Condon (University Of Colorado) Investigation And Report

Why do scientists tend to shy away from more active consideration of the UFO extraterrestrial hypothesis (ETH) issue?

A whole series of UFOs were reported in various localities in Michigan in March 1966. They (the reports) received a lot of press coverage, and the public wanted answers. The USAF had to provide them, and Hynek was their bunny that had to front and centre. Totally unprepared on really short notice to 'please explain', the only possible prosaic explanation that popped into Hynek's mind was 'swamp gas', and said that was the answer at a widely attended press conference. That really generated media coverage as the witnesses concerned just could not and would not accept such a glib explanation for what had been seen over many nights by many people.

That 'swamp gas' episode was a turning point for now the USAF UFO Project Bluebook investigation was becoming a real public relations disaster. The more the Air Force tried to downgrade the issue, the more the public smelled whitewash. Since the USAF knew the UFOs were not a national security issue - no alien invasion had resulted after two decades - it was time to exit gracefully from any involvement relating to the UFO issue. The question was how to accomplish that in an apparently open and in the public eye manner. Well, what about a totally independent study by an established university headed by a well known and respected scientist (or at least someone well known and respected by the scientific community - most scientists don't tend to be household names).

So, in order to bring in qualified, independent experts, restore credibility (and get a reason to get out of the UFO business) the USAF turned to a number of credible universities to do an independent study, all to no avail. Universities didn't need the government's money that badly as well as the negative image UFOs would provide. Except one finally, and that expression of interest was the University of Colorado, and respected physicist Edward U. Condon, to head the team that would look into the UFO issue.

And so it came to pass that the military (USAF) finally contracted out the University of Colorado (and Edward U. Condon) to conduct a study that would give them a graceful out of the UFO business, since by that time national security via-a-vis any terrestrial foreign power had no credibility.

Unfortunately, Dr. Condon, as head of the independent investigation, ultimately proved to be more a liability than an asset. Staffers uncovered a memo by his higher echelon administrator that strongly suggested that he (Condon) had already made his mind up even before the formal and serious study began, that suggested UFOs were a non-issue and that they somehow had to 'trick' the public into thinking that they were going to do a bona fide study, when in reality they all knew they were just wasting their time, but marking time, collecting the government's money, thank you very much.

That lower echelon staff uncovered, hence leaked that 'trick' memo showed that Condon, despite being a scientist, had a closed mind on the subject. That produced such dissention in the ranks, with resultant media publicity, that the internal politics just about shattered any credibility to the investigation, as if it had any in the first place. Some members quit and offered scathing rebuttals to the inner (office politics) workings of the University of Colorado study.

And true to form, the final report apparently dumped poo on the UFO subject, or at least the introductory / summary chapter written by Condon himself dumped poo on it. However, his summary was something his staff never saw until the report was actually published. His staff had actually uncovered something sweeter smelling that poo

Now Condon was clearly 100% anti-UFO before the study even began, but any read of the lengthy actual report relative to Condon's summary (what the press, etc. took note of being short and first up) - well Condon said there was nothing to the UFO ETH; but the actual report compiled by his staff couldn't explain over 30% of the cases it studied.

Now when you issue a 1000+ page report to the press, journalists who have deadlines to meet, all they have time for is to come to terms with the summary and write their articles based on what that summary says. What that summary said is that there's no meat on the bone; the USAF should stop wasting time on the subject - which is exactly what the USAF wanted to hear - and bail out from this PR nightmare. Subject closed. Unfortunately, things didn't quite turn out that way.

What you'll find in the non-Condon written bulk of the University of Colorado report is that UFO case after UFO case (well about 30% of UFO cases in fact) were unexplainable. How Condon could say that there's nothing to the UFO subject in his summary, while his team suggested that 30% of UFO reports they investigated was anything but 'nothing', remains a perplexing historical anomaly.

So the University of Colorado UFO investigation on behalf of the USAF, the Condon Report, didn't close the book on the UFO ETH subject - that is it didn't if you have real the entire report and not just that summary first chapter. There is no similarity between the questions regarding the nature of the UFO unknowns the actual report raises and the summary conclusions reached by boss Condon as given in that first chapter. Few people have taken the time to separate the wheat from the chaff in the Condon Report. The first chapter is the chaff; the bulk of the Condon report contains the wheat.

So, read the entire report. Contrary to popular opinion, the Condon report proved the need for heightened investigation into the UFO phenomena, not the need to abandon the investigation.

In hindsight the Condon Report proved to be a pivotal point in the history of UFOs. It provided a reason for the U.S. Air Force to get out of the UFO business - publicly at least (behind the scenes might be a different question); it provided a disincentive for scientists to further seriously study the UFO ETH issue. Condon set back the scientific study of UFOs by decades - it probably still hasn't recovered from the debacle. And thus, to this day, scientists shy away from the UFO ETH issue. As far as the scientific community is concerned, the case is closed, and Condon closed it.

In conclusion, for the first 20 years of the UFO phenomena, scientists weren't involved in any major way with the issue. UFOs was under the jurisdiction of the military. The subject had been tainted by the New Age cultists and cranks, and then Condon put the final nail in the coffin. Any scientist after that wouldn't touch the subject - they weren't involved from the beginning; the subject was tainted; nobody much bothered to read beyond Condon's anti-UFO ETH summary (even though the actual report contained a lot of meat and potatoes). Translated, no scientist starting out on their career path would now dare consider the topic. The negatives have snowballed and been self-reinforcing ever since.

The best way to learn astrology is to study current astrological placements of the planets and understand the correlation between the symbolic representations of the planetary patterns and the political, environmental and social occurrences in the world.

Astrology tip number one: Follow current events.

By following current astrological movements and changes you will get a feel for the different positions of the planets and understand the different ways these configurations manifest. For example currently there is a powerful configuration that represents revolutionary ideas and uprisings. When the planets aligned and shifted to these positions the protest in the Middle East began. When you study astrology by following current positions of the planets not only will you be able to predict or understand world events you will be able to interpret how those planetary patterns play out in personal astrology charts.

Astrology tip number two. Understand and follow transits to your astrology chart.

In addition to following current astrological movements of the planets it is very important to follow the astrological energies in relationship to your personal chart. When a planet at a current position in the sky is making a mathematical angle to the natal position of a planet in your astrology chart then your personal planet is under an astrology transit. For example if you were born with your Sun in Aries and Uranus in Aries is at the same degree as your Sun then you are under a Uranus transit to your Sun. Specifically Uranus conjunct your Sun. This would indicate a time in your life for your own personal "revolution" of change.

Astrology tip number three: Find a good astrology course or astrology workshop.

There are many ways to study astrology yet it can be very complex and confusing if you do not have a system that allows you to learn astrology easily and effortlessly. Although as in any new teachings acquiring knowledge takes some effort however the best way is to learn from a seasoned astrologer who makes complicated concepts understandable. Find an astrology course that is designed around current astrology principles and how the astrological influences affect your astrology chart. Search for an astrologer who you like and an astrology teacher that has experience. Of course you can learn from someone that you don't like but why? It is better not to have a personality barrier between you and the subject you are learning.

Astrology tip number four:

Write your life story. Arguably the best way to learn astrology is to create an autobiography of events that happened in your life. Take your time to really recall important moments and all memories that you can. Such as the first time you fell in love, graduating college, your first job, all significant job changes, getting married, having kids, getting divorced, great or tragic love affairs, moving, traveling. Write down the dates of these events. Then you will do detective astrology work by finding out what were the transits, or planetary influences that were happening at those times.

Astrology tip number five: Go to astrology conferences.

There is nothing like going to astrology conferences to get a taste of the complexity and diversity that astrology offers. Look for regional and national conferences offered throughout the country, or if you have a strong Jupiter, investigate the astrology conferences throughout the world, why not? It is fun to study astrology with like-minded astrologers that you will meet at the astrology conferences. In addition to astrology lectures many conferences offer pre and post conference astrology workshops.

A little background information on why I am writing an article on EVP and Ghost Boxes.  I was in conversation the other day, with a couple of people I know and they that were suggesting that I try out a couple of experiments using a Ghost Box.    I had never heard of a Ghost Box before - so needless to say, they had to explain what it was and how it worked.  What this would do for my own personal Spritual Development I don't know - seems like cheating to me! They know that I can sense spirit. talk to spirit, and hear spirit.  But stronger spirit communication is one of my constant development targets.

Their suggestion of my using a Ghost Box arose because they know I cannot hear spirit as and when I want - I tend to only hear them when they really want my attention and shout at me.  Or maybe it is just selective hearing - I'm sure I will find out one day.

I have heard of EVP and it is yet another thing that has been on my to-do list for years but for those of you who have no understanding of EVP here is an explanation.

EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena)  is an event in which human-sounding voices from an unknown source are heard on a recording.  These voices are not heard at the time of recording; it is only when the recording is played back that the voices are heard. Sometimes amplification and noise filtering is required to hear the voices. Some EVP is more easily heard and understood than others. And they vary in gender (men and women), age (women and children), tone and emotion. They usually speak in single-words, phrases and short sentences. Sometimes they are just grunts, groans, growling and other vocal noises. EVP has been recorded in many different languages.

A very basic way to try and capture these voices, is with a recording device and with another device playing 'White Noise'.  It is thought that the owners (spirits) of these voices are somehow able to manipulate these waves into recognisable words.  However, there have been many developments over the years, especially with the invention of The Ghost Box.

But What Is A Ghost Box?   By what I can gather a modern day Ghost Box is made up of a couple of radio receivers, that are made to scan the radio waves randomly, which are plugged into a mixer, the mixer is then plugged into a computer running an audio program which also generates white-noise and can record,  a microphone is also plugged into the computer.

You can turn the mixer down, to ask a question, then turn up the mixer, which generates the random frequencies of the radio-waves.  Give the 'voices' a chance to respond.  Then cut the mixer level again and go on to ask another question.  You continue in this way until you have asked all the questions you want to ask.

Turn the radio scanners off.  Play back your recordings.  If you can identify answers to your questions then well done you have made spirit communication!  With the computer audio programs, you can usually cut out additional unwanted interference which can make the voices clearer.

I am sure there are other ways of constructing a Ghost Box but what I have described above is my novice understanding of it.

One day I may actually get around to carrying out some experiments on a home made Ghost Box, or just normal EVP.  But I would certainly be interested in hearing more about this method of spirit communication.

I have been interested in all things related to spiritualism, meditation, self development for as long as I can remember. If any one has any experience of using EVP or a Ghost Box then I would love to hear from you.

The most well known creature and likely the most sought after one in and out of crypto zoological circles has to be Bigfoot also well known as 'Sasquatch". Bigfoot has become a historical legend dating back centuries and is one of the most debated creatures as to its existence. The Sasquatch is alleged to be an ape-like creature inhabiting forest and woodlands, often described as a large and hairy bipedal man like ape. There have been accounts and sighting of this mysterious creature from area's all around the world especially the Pacific Northwestern region of the US and Canada. The name Sasquatch meaning "wild man' comes from an Indian dialect thought to be from the Coast Salish Indian tribe of British Columbia. The more common name for the creature "Bigfoot" is a journalistic term that was generated by the media in the last century and was used because of large foot prints found thought to be linked to the creature.

Bigfoot has been described in many varying accounts from many different area's with some slight variance in exact details. Bigfoot is usually described as an ape like creature standing between 6 and 15 feet tall and weighing in the area of 400-600 pounds covered in brown to reddish tinted hair. The creature is often said to large eyes with a low set forehead and brow ridge , often a common human like facial description is mentioned. The creature is also commonly reported to have a strong and rather unpleasant smell by those who have claimed to get close enough. There have also been tracks linked to the creature of sizes in the range of 24 inches long and 8 inches wide, hence the nickname 'bigfoot".

Sightings and reports of Sasquatch have been around for centuries and have continued to be reported up to present day. Some of the well made cast show proof of a 'push-off mound in mid footprint" and many scientist agree this has value if only for its difficulty in hoaxing because neither fake wood nor rubber faked feet can create this feature. This footprint evidence also offers more interesting facts in the area of comfortable stepping distance for humans which is said to be about half the individual's standing height or a trace more, reported Sasquatch steps are in excess of three feet which can make the argument that these steps would be difficult to impossible to hoax or create artificially by someone wearing fake feet. Many eyewitness sightings of the creature have been reported and many of them coming from area's that are near rivers, lakes, or creeks along with area's with plentiful rainfall totals and many researchers say this points to a pattern of a living species occupying an ecological niche as opposed to all sightings being hoaxes.

Some scientist point out that the described ape-like man known as Bigfoot could actually be "Gigantopithecus". Fossils of this creature have been found in parts of china and its known that many species of animals migrated across the "Bering land bridge" and its not unreasonable that Gigantopithecus could have as well and would account for some bigfoot sightings. Although this hypothesis is generally considered as being entirely speculation as not enough is know about Gigantopithecus to provide an sustainable link. Other simply explain Sasquatch as being a unknown primate existing in the most extreme wilderness areas. Some even attribute the Sasquatch to being a product of UFO's.

Scientist will continue to debate the existence of the Sasquatch and many still consider it a mix of folklore , myth, and simple misidentifications. Most claim these sightings are simply hoax's or embellished accounts from eyewitness's with muddled memories and misinterpretations of what they actually saw. But the Sasquatch has become such a sought after creature that many organizations have been formed to not only research but track and attempt to prove its existence. These groups spend hours upon hours in area's around the world documenting sightings and evaluating all evidence collected. Through out the years the Sasquatch has become the poster creature of many in the Crypto Zoological field.
