"Hello, I live in a rural part of Michigan. The closest major city is Port Huron. I saw this object near my home on the night of Oct 27, 2013. So, I followed it down a public dirt road. Then it turned so I had to turn onto a private unmarked road which is probably used for farm equipment to tend to the adjacent field crop. 

At that point, I was running out of road to go any further. So, I got out of vehicle to take a better view of it. Then, suddenly, the object started moving towards me. It startled me so I ran like hell for a little bit. It was making a very strange low swirling noise...so, please try and turn up your speaker volume to hear it better.

Once I moved a distance back, I zoomed out the camera a bit more and noticed the object was hovering directly over my vehicle. Then it started to lower itself as it slowly rotated directly over my roof! At that point, it appeared to be shining a very bright green beam over it. Then suddenly, it shot straight up into the sky and the swirling sound disappeared at the exact time it vanished. This was a very eerie experience and even my hair was standing on end through the entire time and felt as if there was highly dense static electricity in the air!

What the heck do you think this is people?? This thing scared the bejesus out of me!"

I'm not sure if this is one big object or two smaller objects. The train going by makes it impossible to tell if the object/objects are making any noise.

18 Foot Long Sea Serpent Found - Could this be in Loch Ness?

The discovery of an 18-foot oarfish off Catalina Island thrilled the staff at Catalina Island Marine Institute. Now they're wondering: What do you do with the carcass of a very rare 18-foot-long fish?

Jeff Chace, program director of the institute, said it took about 15 people on Sunday to lug the serpent-like "leviathan" onto shore after it was discovered dead in about 20 feet of water.

"It just amazed me," he said.

Giant oarfish are the longest of the bony fish species -- topping out at around 56 feet in length -- but even at 18 feet, a carcass can be a challenge for scientists.

The marine institute is awaiting results of several samples sent out to researchers, including at UC Santa Barbara, but in the meantime, staff members say they lack the capacity to store it.

"This is a once-in-a-lifetime discovery," Chace said.

Institute members are now mulling the fate of the dead fish. One option on the table is to bury it in 3 feet of sand, then let it decompose over a couple of months. After that, the skeleton of the fish would be mounted, and thus preserved.

Giant oarfish are rarely seen, dead or alive. By mounting the skeleton, it would continue to wow staff and visitors alike.

An instructor snorkeling in the waters of Toyon Bay on Sunday stumbled upon the carcass after seeing a "half-dollar-sized eye starting at her from the sandy bottom," Chace said.

The instructor was in 15 to 20 feet of water at the time, he added.

Chace said there were no marks on the oarfish, and it was unclear how it died. Researchers hope to determine more about the animal and how it wound up in Toyon Bay through the samples sent in by marine institute.

This amazing footage was captured on my home security camera on Oct 12, 2013 @ approx. 2:15 am in my backyard in S.E. Michigan.

My security camera footage was pointing north towards my backyard. The two small lights on the ground border the front of my pond.

Please take a close look at the orb @ 02:25 as it appears to be drawing the water up from the pond. 

I'm setting up more cameras this week in the hopes to gain even better footage."

What is this slow moving "craft"? It seems on the smaller side based on its surroundings, but that is just a guess.

Why oh why do these videos always just stop after a minute or two? If I were filming this thing, I would keep on filming until the UFO left or went out of view.

Ghost Girl Appears in Window of Ravenna Home

RAVENNA, Ohio - A local ghost story is getting new attention.

Lu Ann Sicuro has lived in her Ravenna home for 20 years. She says she's experienced some strange and frightening paranormal activity.

She hears voices, noises in the closets and door knobs jiggling. She claims the proof is in a photo taken by her son a few years ago. It shows a little girl's image in the window.

Lu Ann said what was captured on camera is quite disturbing and very bizarre.
“I feel that this image is a very good photo of something paranormal caught on camera,” she said. Lu Ann thinks the girl is roaming her halls at night.

Calvin Parker who was captured by UFO 40 years ago reveals how it changed his life

"One of two men who claim that they encountered an unidentified flying object and its inhabitants 40 years ago on the banks of the Pascagoula River has said that he has never come to terms with the extra-terrestrial encounter.

Calvin Parker Jr., who became famous along with Charles Hickson after reporting the sighting, says the encounter on October 11, 1973 turned his life upside down.
'This is something I really didn't want to happen,' Parker told The Associated Press as the 40th anniversary of the encounter approached."

The Lake That Turns Animals into Ghostly Statues

Approaching the shoreline of Lake Natron in Tanzania, photographer Nick Brandt faced an eerie sight: There, lying on the earth as still and stiff as statues, were calcified corpses of a variety of birds and bats that had met their untimely demise after crashing into the deadly waters.

"No one knows for certain exactly how [these animals] die, but it appears that the extreme reflective nature of the lake’s surface confuses them, causing them to crash into the lake," Brandt writes in his new photo book Across the Ravaged Land. "The water has an extremely high soda and salt content, so high that it would strip the ink off my Kodak film boxes within a few seconds. The soda and salt causes the creatures to calcify, perfectly preserved, as they dry."

Most Convincing Loch Ness Monster Photo Ever Fake

"My Nessie picture IS a hoax!: Cruise boat skipper who took the most convincing Loch Ness Monster photo ever admits he faked the image with a fibre-glass hump"

It was billed as some of the most convincing evidence that the Loch Ness Monster did exist.
But now the skipper behind the image of Nessie has confirmed it is a fake.

George Edwards owned up to the hoax - saying he'd created the fraud for 'a bit of fun'.
The 61-year-old simply photographed the same fake hump that featured in a National Geographic documentary, Truth Behind the Loch Ness Monster, from 2011.

Today Mr Edwards, who was involved in the production of the documentary and had access to the fake hump, said he had no regrets about the picture despite fooling people for over a year...

UFO Captured on Security Camera - Amazing!

Amazing UFO footage that I captured on my home security camera on the night of Oct 2, 2013 around 11pm in the evening in my front yard in Southeast MI, and I'm about 8 miles north of an air national guard base...wondering if they caught this on their radar?

Object appears at:
0:30
0:37 - 0:55 (light from the object refracting from lense on security cam). This would be very hard to simulate using CGI.
0:54 (laser)

4:40 (laser)
4:53
5:48 - 5:54, the UFO was so bright that it lit up a few trees for a moment before shooting back up into the sky, and in my opinion, impossible to recreate using CGI.

The UFO appears to be scanning the ground with a green laser (the laser beam can be seen on the trees too). The laser beam clearly starts small from the object and fans out into a larger cone as it gets closer to the ground. In my opinion, impossible for someone to be on the ground creating an inverted cone back to the object, and then to be able to track and follow the object's every move at the same time.

This recording is from one of my multiple security cameras that is currently installed on the front of my house. This particular camera is pointing south towards the road (my house is set back about 300ft from the road).

I'm also planning on repositioning one of my security cameras that is currently pointing north in the upward direction in the hopes to gather more footage if the object decides to come back. This north direction would be pointing toward my pond in my backyard. It would be interesting to capture one gathering up water (for what purpose? I'm not sure), but I've heard reports of them using our water.

Also, someone asked why I had my home security camera pointed up into the sky before the incident. Btw, great question! Since there's been a lot ton of fireballs reported all over the world in the last 3 weeks, I thought I might be able to catch one on video, but I never expected to capture this!

The security camera only runs at 15 frame per second. Sorry, I wish I had a faster camera. I'm hoping this thing comes back for another visit soon because it seems friendly too me. Maybe, It'll drop off a superhero flying suit next time! Like on the 80's TV Series, "The Greatest American Hero". :)

Best UFO Sighting So Far In October 2013

"In this video we see the best UFO sighting in the United States in 2013, the UFOs identified we can see in the video resemble spheres in the sky you have the last opinion."

One thing I like about this video is the photographer keeps going until the objects move off. Many times these videos just stop and that makes them suspect. If you saw a UFO, would you stop filming while it was still visible? I wouldn't.

1. Virgin and Child on stump, Rathkeale

Legend has it that a female spectre which haunted the churchyard in Rathkeale, Limerick was so terrifying that all who looked upon her died soon after. A local man banished the ghost by slicing off her arm with his sword and praying for the rest of the night. In an odd coincidence in 2009, the Limerick Newsire reported that a tree stump in the churchyard contains the image of the Virgin Mary and Child, and that hundreds of visitors had come to the area to pray.

2. Short Green Men, Galway

Perhaps a leprechaun sighting? In 1992, a fifteen year old boy spied two figures, just over a meter tall, sea fishing on the Aran Islands in Galway. The figures were each reportedly dressed in green and wearing brown shoes, and were speaking to each other in Irish before they disappeared. One of the small figures left behind a pipe which the 15 year old witness took possession of, although it curiously disappeared later despite being “safely” locked away.

Fascinating picture of a possible Bigfoot sighting. Are we getting close to finding out these creatures are real?

"You wait years for a decent sighting of the legendary ape-like creature known as Bigfoot, and then two come along at once.

The fascinating photographs, taken just two weeks ago near Bradford, Pennsylvania, appear to show a pair of Bigfoots, or perhaps that should be Bigfeet, wandering through the trees.
Keen hiker John Stoneman claims he spotted the seven-foot-tall beasts just yards from a main road through trees in Kinzua State Park.

Mr Stoneman, 57, had been returning from the Kinzua Bridge Fall Festival with his girlfriend when the pair saw the mysterious shape moving in the forest.
He quickly grabbed his camera and fired off these shots as they slowed the car down and edged along the road."

Bigfoot is Real Claims Research Team with HD Video to Prove It

A team of Sasquatch researchers screened what it called "never before seen HD video" of Bigfoot on Tuesday.

During a news conference, they played several short clips that purported to show various human-like, hairy figures moving about in wooded areas in Kentucky.
The group — led by Dr. Melba Ketchum, a trained veterinarian who founded her own genetics research company — has been collecting data and evidence or the past five years. Their effort is known as The Sasquatch Genome Project.

"This was a serious study," Ketchum said of the program that they said cost $500,000 to complete.

The exclusive footage came from a similar effort dubbed The Erickson Project, which was led by Adrian Erickson. That group said it captured the "definitive video and DNA evidence from the elusive Sasquatch."
