What is up w/ Google & the UFO?

Question by Mwah!: What is up w/ Google & the UFO?
when u click on the "doodle" it bring u to the "unexplained phenomenon" link. recently Google tweeted something odd, "1.12.12.25.15.21.18.15.1.18.5.25.12.15.14.7.20.15.19.15.21.19." I guess it translated to "all your o belong to us," referring to the "o" in the doodle.

any explanations??

  1. It's a paranormal theme today.

  2. They have different silly themes almost every other day. Just funny little things they do to the logo to give people a laugh when they log on. I think there's even a site to see every logo they've ever used, though I can't remember it. Google it! LOL

  4. "Google UFO logo leads to unexplained phenomenon searches"

"A Google logo featuring a saucer-shaped spacecraft shining a light on the second "o" has the Web atwitter with searches for unexplained phenomenon, the Taos hum and more evidence of the paranormal.

All of those searches are among the most common this morning, according to Google Trends. Google regularly changes its logo, but this one appears to be attracting more attention than usual. Some have suggested Google is trying to tell us something about aliens arriving soon on Earth"

I think it's largely due to the increase in reports of sightings of UFO's and extra-terrestrials which I read in the newspapers recently -

Usually the the graphics on the google logo is often for a special event or anniversary so I found it a bit strange there wasn't a particular reason why as when you click on the google image it takes you to a link of unexplanied phenomenom sites.
But if it was somehow related to Japans lady talking about her experience with ufo's and the alien baby and such then I thought there would be links to that information when you click on the google graphics with the UFo.. but obviously not.

I think it's to do with the rise in sightings and reportings etc..

  5. Maybe this is about a Google Operating System that we'll see soon? Just a guess. Or just to see what people would do and the unexplained phenomenon is the logo it's self.

An official statement from Google says the following:
We consider the second 'o' critical to user recognition of our brand and pronunciation of our name. We are actively looking into the mysterious tweet that has appeared on the Google twitter stream and the disappearance of the "o" on the Google homepage. We hope to have an update in the coming weeks.
