I personally would have fired him long ago, & even if I did vocals myself & they were really bad as far as commercial quality goes, at least they would be real & have zarathustra, real zarathustra. I would have quit music if this is the "best" America can come up with, or if you can make a living off of this. Why schlock-i-fy the youth more? People are dumb. If they like it, so? what? You already know in your heart what is best.
Do what you want, but you have to LIVE with what you do, & the youth you influence. If everything is about MONEY MONEY MONEY & the bottom line then so be it. You? have to LIVE with that, I don't. If you really do make a "living" and have a following, then you can easily subvert them all in the right direction. Don't be warren buffet, with 0% fight. Be like me with 120% fight. Fight harder.
I've been doing this since 1997 & I have made 0 dollars off this. In fact, I've lost about 10-20? grand by now. Least I don't smoke, get tatoos, do drugs, piercings, etc. Something I'm also against. There are people that blow problably 10 grand in 2 years, and their hobby is smoking. They will die. Smoking Kills. Drugs Kill. You're music is virtually spiritually dead & you don't get it. My program is this. 1. SUFFER! 2. TRY! 3. RESPECT YOUR BODY! 4. DON'T SETTLE FOR LESS!
fire? the vocalist? right, fire the guy whos band it is, the guy that writes all the material, right. they make a living off their music. a lot of people happen to like the vocals.
