Do you love ghost hunting as much as I do? Does the thought of prowling around in an old haunted house get you going? If so, I just finished reading a book I think you will want to read ASAP. It is called "The World’s Most Haunted Places, Revised Edition: From the Secret Files of Ghostvillage.com" or as I like to refer to it, "The Tour Guide Book of the Supernatural".

Halloween is fast approaching and at this time of the year, I like to find books with a ghostly or supernatural bent. I like fiction, but when it come to ghost stories, I want the real thing.A Jeff Belanger, (jeffbelanger.com) the author of this book takes us on a tour around the U.S. as well as other places around the world. We not only get to hear the spine tingling tales about ghosts, spirits and the macabre, but we also learn some historical tidbits about the various haunted places as well. How cool is that?

Who is Jeff Belanger? Jeff is one of the world’s most visible and prolific paranormal researchers. Since 1997, the former journalist has interviewed thousands of eyewitnesses to paranormal occurrences. He is the author of a dozen books on the paranormal; the founder of Ghostvillage.com one of the Web’s most popular paranormal destinations, and a noted speaker and media personality. Belanger is the series writer and researcher for Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel. He’s been a guest on more than 200 radio and television programs including: The History Channel, The Travel Channel, PBS, The Maury Show, The CBS News Early Show, National Public Radio, The BBC, Australian Radio Network, and Coast to Coast AM. So yeah, Jeff is qualified to take us on this ghost tour for sure.

I enjoyed this book a lot, from the history lessons, to the legends and sightings of ghostly activity. If you are interested in subjects like this, I can’t imagine you not liking this book. It is well written, interesting and scary too. Curl up in front of a fire and dig in. Just be ready for the feeling that someone or something is behind you ready to pounce. That is this kind of book.
